RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU

• 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• ECMO / CVICU / Critical care adult experience required
• No call requirements
• Weekend requirements : 6 weekend shifts per schedule for night shift (Friday / Saturday / Sunday)
• Patient ratios : 2 : 1 and 1 : 1 depending on acuity
• Must have experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Must have experience with titratable drips and understanding of hemodynamics
• Must have experience with respiratory patients including vents, BiPap, trachs, and airvo
• Must have experience with open heart surgery recovery
• Must have experience with ECMO, Impella, and balloon pumps
• Must have experience with CRRT / SLED procedures
• Work with equipment including GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Centrimag ECMO Circuits, Impella CP & 5.5, Prismax CRRT machines, Tablo SLED machines, and Maquet Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
• EMR system :
  Meditech
• Typical procedures include central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and intubations
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be a team player with positive attitude and adaptability
• CVICU charge experience preferred

This medical center features an 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit located on the 4th floor, staffed with 25 team members providing specialized critical care services. The facility maintains a 2 : 1 and 1 : 1 patient ratio depending on acuity and is equipped with advanced cardiac technology including ECMO circuits, Impella devices, and CRRT machines. The unit specializes in post-operative cardiac surgery care and advanced cardiac interventions, providing comprehensive critical care services to adult patients requiring intensive cardiovascular monitoring and support.
