Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Free-Standing ED requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent ER experience.

• Work in a Free-Standing Emergency Department (ED) setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract with 36 hours per week
• Patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a free-standing ED
• Must be prepared to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Team-based work environment with other emergency clinicians
• Compliance with required vaccinations and screenings per facility protocols
• Must submit complete documentation for consideration including proof of licensure and certifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent ED experience required
• Current AHA or ARC certifications that do not expire within the first 30 days of start
• CPI certification or equivalent (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• TNCC certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility—no local candidates
• Must provide references as required for consideration
