American Traveler is hiring a Level 3/4 NICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience and NRP certification.

• Level 3/4 Neonatal ICU unit with 97 beds and approximately 200 staff members
• Patient ratio of 3-4 patients per RN
• Unit staffed primarily by RNs with one clerk per shift
• Uses Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
• Charts in CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP (Advanced 9th Edition) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level 3 NICU experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Navy scrub color required per unit dress code
• No nail polish or artificial nails permitted
• Candidates should have a friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality to fit the unit culture
• Candidates with prior travel experience will be given preference
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
