Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Free-Standing ED position requiring TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, and BLS certifications with night shift and rotating weekend availability.

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, and NIHSS required by start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required
• Greater than 2 years of experience preferred
• Experience with procedures such as LPs, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• Work in a Free-Standing Emergency Department with 32+ beds
• Unit staffed with CNCs, RNs, Medics, and PCTs across all shifts
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required, 4 shifts per schedule
• No on-call requirements
• Provide emergency care across a range of acute and trauma presentations
• Strong team-oriented culture valuing anticipation of patient and department needs
• Scrub color is Navy Blue with Navy Blue zip-up sweater; pullover sweatshirts not permitted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• One professional reference required for consideration
