Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Endoscopy RN for a 13-week day shift contract requiring prior GI/Endoscopy experience and a TX or compact RN license.

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• 1 year of recent Endoscopy experience required
• BLS certification required
• No certifications expiring within 30 days of start
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Work in a hospital Endoscopy unit with 2 procedure rooms
• Unit staffed with 2 RNs and 3 Techs on day shift
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Performs procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, GI Bleeds, and ERCP
• Uses GI equipment and scopes
• Meditech EMR used
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• On-call required 1-2 days per week
• Provide direct patient care for GI and Endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Facility provides Ceil Blue scrubs
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers may be considered
