American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a night-shift contract requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and fetal monitoring competency.

• Labor and Delivery/OB-ED unit on the 4th floor, 8 beds with approximately 25 staff
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Equipment used includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• EMR system used is Meditech/CPN
• No call requirements
• Permanent positions also available on the unit

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience required
• Competency in SVE and C-Section circulation required
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Perform care for patients undergoing SVD, cerclage, C-Section, and TOLAC procedures
• Team player with a positive attitude preferred
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
• Previous HCA assignment or employment experience preferred
• Experience in a high-volume Level IV unit preferred
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; t-shirts not permitted, only solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts allowed
• Must adhere to attendance policy
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
