Join to apply for the Climbing Arborist role at Environmental Career Center. Primary location:
Austin, TX.

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Safely and productively lead a crew in providing arboricultural care for clients.
• Assess jobsite hazards, obstacles, plan, and use equipment (H.O.P.E. process).
• Prune, thin, and remove deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
• Remove hazardous trees.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
• Properly maintain, prepare, and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and more.

• Love of the outdoors
• Valid driver s license
• Preferred:
  Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Preferred:
  Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
