The Quality Engineer will be based in Austin, Tx, reporting to the Quality Manager. In this role, you will be maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like
  • Ensure inspection plans align with production timelines and customer requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for inspection-related issues.
  • Investigate and resolve escalations promptly to minimize delays and maintain compliance.
  • Monitor inspection progress and proactively address bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection activities in the tracking system.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports on inspection performance and key metrics.
  • Verify that all inspection reports, checklists, and related documents meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.
  • Support training initiatives for inspectors and related personnel.
Experience we’re looking to add to our team
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of quality experience.
  • 1+ years of medical device experience (ISO
    13485).
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience.
