Infineon is a world leader in semiconductor solutions. We are seeking an experienced Outsourcing Supplier Quality Engineering expert with wafer fabrication environment and process experience to join our team and play a crucial role in Supply Quality Management, aiming for highest quality standards and zero defect.
Job Description- Drive and respond to foundry suppliers’ Quality stability (Cpk) and improvements through statistical process control (SPC), 8D review, and define continuous improvement plans (CIP).
- Regularly review foundry Quality index and define continuous improvement actions. Co‑work with internal team to establish key performance indicators that comprehensively measure factory Quality performance.
- Investigate and perform problem solving for root cause investigation in MRB team. Dispose owner for the non‑conforming product in supply chain.
- Interface with Infineon Reliability and Quality team for reliability monitoring plan/execution.
- Final gate keeper and releases for foundry change review.
- Participate in supplier surveillance audit (VDA 6.3) and end‑customer audit.
- Work with global cross‑functional team and maintain good interaction with IFX BU (Business Unit) team.
- Coordinate the end‑customer complaint and return and lesson‑learn fan‑out (Read‑Across) execution.
- Monitor and join review with development and transfer team for the Quality performance from NPI project. Support product‑based qualification activities and communication with Infineon individual BU.
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Physics, Material, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
- 7+ years working experience as a Quality or Process Integration or Product Engineering and customer service engineering in front‑end wafer process or supply‑chain management of foundries. Quality‑related management experience is a plus, especially in automotive industry.
- Strong systematic thinking, good attitude and advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and quality core tools (SPC, FMEA, 6‑sigma, 8D) and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge in functional area with deep knowledge in wafer manufacturing is needed.
- Good language proficiency in English (Native speaker, Advanced, Intermediate level is a plus); additional language skills are a plus.
- An open and creative mind, self‑motivated and proactive, with positive attitude, detail oriented and can‑do attitude.
- Good communication skills with global cross functions; excellent task coordination and teamwork spirit.
- Ability to travel as required.
Minimum $112,200 per year and maximum $154,300 per year. All employees eligible for incentive plan.
