Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Quality Engineer will be based in Austin, Tx
, reporting to Quality Manager. In this role, you will be maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensure inspection plans align with production timelines and customer requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inspection-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve escalations promptly to minimize delays and maintain compliance.
• Monitor inspection progress and proactively address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities in the tracking system.
• Generate daily/weekly reports on inspection performance and key metrics.
• Verify that all inspection reports, checklists, and related documents meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Audit documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.
• Support training initiatives for inspectors and related personnel.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of quality experince
• 1+ years of medical device experince (ISO
  13485)
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
