Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all electrical QA/QC activities across the data center construction project, from installation through testing and commissioning readiness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and inspection procedures.
  • Oversee electrical inspections to ensure installations comply with approved construction drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and project quality standards.

  • Switchgear, transformers, switchboards, and distribution panels.
  • UPS systems, generators, PDUs, and associated power infrastructure.
  • Cable tray, conduit, grounding, bonding, and electrical cabling.
  • Busway, power distribution, and associated electrical containment.
  • Life safety, emergency power, and critical power systems.
  • Coordinate and witness inspections, equipment testing, and quality hold points in line with approved ITPs and project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and manage non-conformances (NCRs), deficiencies, and punch-list items through to satisfactory resolution and closure.
  • Review electrical subcontractor quality documentation, inspection records, test reports, material certifications, and installation check sheets.
  • Work closely with Construction Managers, Electrical Superintendents, Project Managers, and Commissioning (Cx) teams to ensure quality issues are resolved before system turnover and commissioning activities.
  • Support commissioning readiness by verifying installation completeness, documentation, test records, and outstanding quality items.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection logs, turnover packages, and closeout documentation.
  • Participate in quality meetings, site walks, audits, and coordination meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Proactively identify recurring quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve project performance.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the project team.

  • Previous experience in an Electrical QA/QC Lead, Electrical Quality Manager, Electrical QA/QC Manager, or similar senior electrical quality role.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale data center, mission-critical, or other complex electrical construction projects.
