Residential Property Manager
The Property Manager is responsible for providing clients with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. Real Property Management Lone Star manages single family and small multi-family properties and relies on the Property Manager to demonstrate leadership and create trust with owners and tenants (both current and prospective). The Property Manager instills confidence in our services by taking world-class care of the properties we manage.
ESSENTIALRESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands-on management of property portfolio
- Prepare advertisements for available rental properties in ABOR MLS.
- Maintaining regular, close contact with current clients
- Managing portfolio correspondence
- Executing appropriate actions against tenants in arrears
- Phone and reception coverage
- Performing rent reviews and lease renewals
- Attending and participating in weekly office meetings
- Attending and participating in training sessions as directed by the Manager
- Adhering to all procedures required in this role.
- Providing feedback for and participating in continuous improvement of procedures and processes
- Other duties as assigned
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office and Appfolio property management software applications
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
The Property Manager is highly organized with strong time management skills and an understanding of prioritization. Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service and to instill trust, the Property Manager is a natural communicator with good negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, and a professional demeanor.
REQUIREMENTS- MUST HAVE CURRENT Texas RE LICENSE!
- Residential property management experience
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Local area RE and MLS knowledge
- Building maintenance knowledge
- Computer proficiency—Microsoft Office, Appfolio property management software
