The Property Manager (Job Code: Property Manager ATX-753C) is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential or mixed-use property. This role includes managing leasing activities, ensuring high occupancy levels, coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and responding promptly to resident inquiries and concerns. The Property Manager will supervise on-site staff, collaborate with maintenance teams to address work orders and preventative maintenance, and ensure that the property is clean, safe, and compliant with regulations.

They will monitor budgets, track expenses, support rent collection, and prepare regular operational and financial reports for ownership. The role also involves implementing community standards, supporting marketing initiatives, enforcing leases and policies, and fostering a professional, resident-focused environment.

• Experience in property operations, including leasing oversight, tenant relations, and day-to-day site management. Preferrably with Affordable Housing experience.
• Strong skills in budgeting, rent collection processes, financial reporting, and basic accounting practices.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance activities, manage vendors and contractors, and oversee construction or renovation projects as needed.
• Proficiency in property management software, office productivity tools, and digital communication platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on customer service and resident satisfaction.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through on tasks and deadlines.
• Previous experience in multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use property management is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, local regulations, and property safety standards; ability to uphold non-discriminatory practices.
• Capacity to work on-site in Austin, TX, including occasional evenings or weekends as property needs require.
