** Position is fixed-term for one year with the possibility of renewal.
** This position may perform work both in-person and remotely, as determined by supervisor and the needs of the college. This position may occasionally be required to work additional hours or weekends as needed to complete time-sensitive projects or facilitate events and programs.

A key part of that mission is our commitment to eliminating disparities, raising awareness, and fostering a culture where everyone has equal opportunities and a sense of belonging.## Purpose The Research Associate reports to Jie Li, Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy to investigate natural products chemistry, biosynthesis, and biological activities for drug discovery.##

Responsibilities
* Assist the lab with natural products discovery and biological evaluations for drug discovery
* Assist with manuscript preparation for scientific publication
* Additional duties as assigned.##

Required Qualifications
* B.S. or senior undergraduates with background in pharmaceutical sciences, biology, biochemistry, or chemistry.
* Experience in analyzing research data.
* Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.*##

Preferred Qualifications
* Strong verbal and writing communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to assist with scientific research and manuscript preparation.## Salary Range·      $16,000- $24,000 depending on qualifications## Working Conditions
* Open office environment
* Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
* Use of manual dexterity
