Mexican Sugar is seeking a Dishwasher!

Location:

Austin, TX

• Insurance after 90 days (requirements met)
• 5 days of PTO (after 1 year and minimum average hours worked requirements are met)
• Average $14–18+/hour

Responsible for cleaning and restocking dinnerware, utensils, and glassware, as well as assisting other restaurant staff members with cleaning and prepping tasks.

• Interacting with other team members professionally and courteously.
• Be at work on time and in proper uniform.
• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing and restocking dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
• Clean equipment used in the kitchen.
• Unload and stock deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Take out and rinse garbage cans and linen baskets.
• Support other staff members by assisting with other tasks, such as prepping and dating food items.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
• Make sure all equipment used in the dish area is functional and filled with chemicals.

• Prior experience is a plus but not needed.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures. Must have all up-to-date certifications required.
