MAIN DUTIES:

A server at Alteno Restaurant works effectively as part of the service team of the Restaurant/Bar. The Restaurant Server is primarily responsible, but not limited to, fulfilling all guest’s service needs according to 1 Hotel standards.

GENERAL DUTIES:
* Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations
* Follow high standards of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures
* Observe guests’ dining experience to confirm satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests
* Provides guest check promptly and returns receipt promptly
* Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
* Willingness to assists busser or fellow servers in clearing and resetting tables when needed
* Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smiling
* Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
* Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by federal and state guidelines
* Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
* Perform other related activities as assigned by management
* Guarantee neat and quality service
* Participate in daily shift meetings
* Adhere to strict uniform & grooming standards
* Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures with care
* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.
* Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
