Position OverviewGuitar Center is dedicated to nurturing lifelong musicians and creating an inclusive, customer‑first environment. As Operations Manager, you will lead a team responsible for receiving, stocking, merchandising, and moving merchandise to the sales floor while upholding our standards of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Navigates new technology and retail systems to meet communication, customer service, and business needs.
- Partner with the Store Manager and management team to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and manage hiring and training of operations associates.
- Assist in training associates at all levels.
- Oversee shipping and receiving of gear and related items.
- Maintain warehouse organization, stocking, and facility maintenance.
- Manage loss prevention and safety, inventory, cash, and business reporting.
- Conduct weekly signage and pricing audits, ensuring planogram compliance.
- Act as manager in charge to drive sales when necessary.
- Handle opening and closing of the store.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of relevant retail or warehouse experience.
- Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a loud environment for 5‑8 hours.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Associate’s Degree.
- Understanding of Guitar Center retail systems and processes.
