As a Sales Lead, you will apply advanced sales and specialty product knowledge to drive customer satisfaction and sales performance. You will be responsible for supervising a team, managing inventory and merchandising, and ensuring compliance with all product freshness, safety, and sanitation standards.

• Assist in ordering and scheduling weekly department operations.
• Identify and address high priority activities first and delegate responsibilities to appropriate partners.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain operating effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company regulations for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation.
• Maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control, and assist in merchandising the department to maximize sales.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.

• Typically requires 5-8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and preparation.
• Strong customer service skills and passion for food.
• Materials Handling Equipment certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, extreme temperature environments.
• Previous retail or restaurant experience required.

• Must be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs.
