Sales Stock Associate

Hutson Clothing is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Stock & Operations Associate to help keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes and occasionally assist on the sales floor.

This position is primarily focused on receiving freight, processing merchandise, maintaining inventory, organizing stock, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable using technology, has basic computer skills, and knows how to use Shopify or is able to learn new systems quickly.

There may also be opportunities to assist with customers, answer incoming phone calls, and help ring up purchases when needed.

Hutson Clothing is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Stock & Operations Associate to help keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes and occasionally assist on the sales floor.

This position is primarily focused on receiving freight, processing merchandise, maintaining inventory, organizing stock, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable using technology, has basic computer skills, and knows how to use Shopify or is able to learn new systems quickly.

• Receive, unload, and process incoming freight.
• Unpack, inspect, ticket, tag, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Organize and maintain stockroom inventory.
• Keep merchandise organized and properly stored.
• Transfer merchandise between the stockroom and sales floor.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment.

• Use Shopify to receive, process, and manage inventory.
• Enter and update merchandise information accurately.
• Assist with inventory adjustments and transfers.
• Learn and navigate store systems efficiently.

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Assist with checking out customers and processing purchases.
• Help customers when needed.
• Support the sales team with general daily store operations.

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new technology.
• Previous Shopify experience preferred, but a willingness and ability to learn quickly is essential.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift and move boxes and merchandise as needed.
• Retail or stockroom experience is a plus.

Someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, works efficiently, pays attention to detail, and understands that being part of a small team means pitching in wherever help is needed.

This is primarily an operations and stock position, with occasional customer-facing responsibilities.
