Store Director

Store Directors manage the retail store and are responsible for achieving the budgeted sales and profits for assigned store. Maintain conditions of store as to Company specifications

• Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, answering and resolving customer complaints or inquires, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well.
• Maintain full service departments including fresh produce, fresh meats, bakery, deli, office services, and efficient, fast checkout for all of our customers. Maintain ad items and special promotion items on a daily basis.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign employees to specific duties.
• Hold weekly departmental meetings to keep managers updated on company news, policy changes, procedures, concerns, upcoming ad activities, and store sales and profitability information.
• Maintain budgeted inventory levels.
• Merchandise according to requirements and programs for profitability of store operations.
• Ensure compliance of employees with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices.
• Maintain production and standards for all job functions within the retail store.
• Maintain dress codes, friendly attitude, and moral.
• Follow and manage training programs and makes sure all employees are trained to do their required tasks or job functions.
• Open the store each day. Work a minimum of five days per week.
  
  Work every Friday, Saturday, and Monday.
  
  Work full day until 6:00 pm.
  
  Visit store at least once per week during evening hours.
  
  Visit store as least one Sunday per month.

At least 2 years of experience in retail grocery management (or a related field) and actual functional knowledge of the overall duties required. Completion or enrollment in the Retail Management Certificate Program preferred. Must have a High School Diploma and experience in each of the following departments; grocery, market, produce, bakery, deli, and, office. Must be able to use Microsoft office products with ease, and have good verbal and written skills.

Must be able to calculate gross profits, inventories, salary projections, production projections, and prepare budgets. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
