Flo Sports is a world‑class sports media company strategically positioned to be the essential destination for passionate sports fans, delighting them with live event coverage, breaking news, highlights, stats, rankings, and team and player profiles.

We are growing our sports ecosystem every day by investing in over a dozen sport verticals and hundreds of streaming partners, and are creating the home for college conferences and sports such as grappling, hockey, track & field, racing, cheer, wrestling, and more. We’re looking for innovative and passionate people to help us!

Role

We are seeking a hungry, driven, and highly successful sports media/advertising seller to join our Integrated Partnerships team as an individual contributor. This role is designed for a proven closer with existing relationships across both blue‑chip and SME accounts, who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and is motivated by outsized earnings and impact.

You will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing multi‑faced advertising and sponsorship deals, leveraging Flo Sports’ unique assets—including live events, original content franchises, social and digital video, influencer/talent activations, and data‑driven audience targeting. You will play a pivotal role in elevating Flo Sports’ brand perception among marketers, increasing deal size, and unlocking new revenue streams.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: identify, prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close integrated advertising and sponsorship deals with both blue‑chip brands and SMEs, leveraging your existing relationships, business development abilities, and Flo Sports’ growing portfolio of assets.
  • Drive new business: aggressively pursue net new revenue while expanding current relationships, with a focus on verticals and sectors aligned to Flo Sports’ strategic growth plan (e.g., sports sponsors, heartland brands, tech, women’s sports brands, tourism, pharma, betting, and more).
  • Solution selling: develop creative, insight‑driven proposals that solve marketer business needs, integrating live events, custom content, social/influencer activations, podcasts, and digital media.
  • Data‑driven targeting: utilize audience insights, Quantcast, and CRM tools to target the right brands and deliver measurable ROI for clients. Track and report on pipeline, outreach, and deal progress using Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
  • Elevate brand perception: serve as a brand ambassador for Flo Sports, helping to revolutionize our “storefront window” for marketers by selling award‑worthy content and innovative sponsorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally: partner with content, marketing, production, and product teams to package and deliver compelling, turn‑key programs for advertisers. Ensure flawless execution and client service post‑sale.
  • Meet and exceed quotas: consistently achieve and surpass aggressive quarterly and annual revenue targets and outreach quotas, with a focus on increasing average deal size and landing multi‑year, six and seven‑figure commitments.
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Track record of success: 5+ years in sports media, digital advertising, or integrated sponsorship sales, with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets and closing six‑ and seven‑figure deals.
  • Deep relationships: existing, active relationships with decision‑makers at both blue‑chip brands, agencies, and SMEs across relevant sectors (sports, CPG, tech, retail, financial, tourism, etc.).
  • Hunter mentality: relentless drive to win new business, with a high outbound activity level and a knack for opening doors and creating opportunity where none previously existed.
  • Strategic and creative: ability to develop and articulate compelling insight‑driven programs that connect Flo Sports’ assets to advertiser objectives. Experience with CTV, custom content, events, influencer, and digital‑first sponsor ships is a plus.
  • Data‑driven operator: comfortable using CRM, data, and audience insights to inform targeting, pipeline management, and reporting. Experience with Salesforce and digital ad tech is preferred.
