About This Role
Tribe Gaming is seeking an experienced Director of Partnership Sales who will play a crucial role in generating revenue and building strong partnerships. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a player / coach capacity, balancing the responsibilities of managing and mentoring a sales team while actively participating in sales activities to meet and exceed both individual and team targets.
WhatYou'll Be Doing Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor and manage the Brand Partnership Sales and Partnership Operations team, driving performance and ensuring individual sales goals are accomplished
- Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to the sales team, helping them grow their skills and achieve their full potential.
- Create and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve the effectiveness of the sales team.
- Lead the development of the company's sales strategy in order to achieve revenue goals
- Identify new revenue opportunities and strategically position Tribe Gaming's offerings to prospective clients and partners.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and market trends.
- Actively participate in the sales process, maintaining and growing an individual pipeline of sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business partnerships.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, events, and finance, to ensure the successful execution of sales agreements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape in order to recommend innovative sales approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership roles within the gaming, media, or technology industries.
- Strong track record of direct brand partnership sales, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for developing sales talent.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and execute effective sales strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Local to Austin, TX, with the ability to come into the office 3+ days per week.
