The Senior Business Travel and Luxury Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within the business travel and leisure travel segments by building and managing strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate travel managers, tour operators, wholesalers, and key industry partners. This role focuses on proactively promoting the hotel’s services and experiences while identifying new business opportunities to maximize room nights and overall revenue.

We are seeking a result-oriented sales professional with a passion for hospitality and proven ability to cultivate lasting client partnerships.

Responsibilities include but not limited to selling hotel services & experiences corporate accounts, travel agencies, wholesalers, consortia’s and its related platforms for individual or groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement yearly strategic sales plans per market to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Increase market share and achieve revenue goals.
  • Execute “Total Managing Accounts” current and future clients (groups & FIT’s).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts into travel agencies, tour operators, entertainment, on-line travel agencies (OTAs), and wholesale partners.
  • Conduct regular client visits, property site inspections, sales presentations to showcase the hotel and its services.
  • Develop retention and acquisition plan into domestic and international markets.
  • Represent the hotel at related industry trade shows, roadshows, networking events to expand the hotel’s presence.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts and packages within accounts to secure business.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies proactively.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Marketing teams to create targeted promotions, packages, and seasonal offers that drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and account management into Hyatt Sales System.
  • Present quarterly production report by market comp with budget including pipeline and market trends.
  • Engage with on-site team members and lead educational sessions to ensure seamless luxury guest experience (Front office team, reservation, housekeeper, etc.) to fulfill standards of Luxury program (welcome amenity/card, room type, complaints, etc.).
  • Collaborate with sales and event team to identify additional business opportunities.
  • Collaborate and work closely with Hyatt Sales Force team in all accounts related to this market.
  • Keep & maintain in-line expenses approved for account/market assigned.
  • Attend Sales & Marketing meetings and training requested for this role.
  • Execute & maintain “brand” values to establish difference with competitors.

Qualifications
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in this role (150+ rooms property).
  • Knowledge of key market accounts and agencies within the business travel and luxury travel segments.
  • Advanced computer knowledge, Agency 360, Cvent/Lanyon, Envision and Luxury program’s platforms/software.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Hospitality and welcoming personality, strong service and operational understanding, ability to listen, being empathic, managing pressure, enjoying helping and having positive attitude.
  • Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded.
