• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with quota-carrying enterprise technology/cloud sales selling into State of Texas departments and agencies.

• Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software across public sector, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
• Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
• Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
• Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
• Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
• Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.

The Google Public Sector State, Local, and Education mission is to support state and local government, as well as higher education, customers and partners to drive successful mission outcomes through the implementation of Google AI and Security technologies.

As a Field Sales Representative you'll be focused on account growth, account management, and new client acquisition. You will collaborate with extended teams to devise strategies to expand and acquire specific customers in the State of Texas.

You will have relationship-building and consultative selling skills. You will be adept at navigating public sector procurement processes and consistently delivering results in an engaged environment. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $118000 - $171000 (USD) + 150% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Serve as the primary relationship owner and business generator for named State of Texas accounts.
• Drive new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and manage the entire business cycle from needs assessment to successful implementation.
• Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customer issues, crafting and presenting tailored solutions, partnering agreements, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Leverage deep understanding of State Agency challenges and opportunities to build trust and credibility, positioning our company as a partner for infrastructure modernizations, cloud technologies and AI enabled security.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Technical and Industry Specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services, ultimately maximizing business generation and growth within assigned territory.
