Business Development Representative

Austin, TX | On-site, 5 days a week | Full-time

We are partnering with a venture-backed, AI-powered startup changing how consumer brands get their products onto retail shelves. The team is small, fast-moving, and loves trying new technology. The Opportunity is a chance to join one of the company's first sales teams and own the full sales cycle. You'll represent a portfolio of consumer brands and take each account from first outreach all the way to repeat orders.

Salespeople sit right next to the engineering team, so your feedback directly shapes the tools you sell with every day.

• - Own brand accounts end to end, turning each brand's growth goals into a targeted retailer list
• - Use an AI prospecting platform to find and qualify best-fit retailers
• - Cold call and email store buyers and owners, send samples, and follow up until a purchase order closes
• - Manage accounts after the first sale: check in, drive reorders, and share retailer feedback with brands
• - Spend a few minutes each day giving product feedback to the engineering team

• - 0 to 3 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or AE at a tech company or consumer goods broker
• - Hands-on cold outbound and prospecting experience
• - Resilience: you handle rejection well and respond to objections with confidence
• - Curiosity about AI and eagerness to adopt new tools quickly
• - Currently based in Austin, TX and able to work on-site 5 days a week

• - Sales experience at a CPG broker, CPG brand, or outsourced sales agency
