Business Development Representative; BDR

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative for an innovative, AI-powered company serving the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. The company helps food and beverage brands connect with suitable retailers through AI-driven prospecting, targeted outreach, and account management.

This is an opportunity for an early-career sales professional to join a growing team, manage brand accounts from initial outreach through repeat orders, and contribute directly to business growth. The ideal candidate enjoys cold calling, handles rejection well, and is eager to use emerging AI tools to improve sales performance.

• Manage assigned food and beverage brand accounts from prospecting and initial outreach through sales and repeat orders.
• Identify suitable retailers, independent grocers, cafés, and coffee shops based on each brand's sales goals.
• Use AI-powered prospecting tools to research retailers, build lead lists, and identify qualified sales opportunities.
• Conduct outbound cold calls and email outreach to retailer buyers, owners, and other decision-makers.
• Coordinate product samples, follow up with prospects, and manage opportunities through purchase order completion.
• Maintain relationships with existing accounts, encourage repeat purchases, and support ongoing account growth.
• Provide brands with feedback on retailer outreach, customer interest, and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to share feedback and improve AI prospecting tools.
• Learn and adopt new technologies to improve prospecting efficiency and sales results.
• Track outreach activities, follow-ups, and account progress to support sales targets.

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• 0-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, account management, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
• Previous experience in software sales, including SDR, BDR, Account Executive, or Account Manager positions.
• Hands-on experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to handle rejection, remain persistent, and work toward measurable sales goals.
• Interest in AI-powered technology and willingness to learn and adopt new tools.
• Currently located in Austin, Texas, and available to work on-site five days per week.

• Experience with consumer packaged goods (CPG), food and beverage brands, or CPG brokerage firms.
• Sales experience at a technology company or established sales organization.
• Familiarity with retail buyer outreach, product sampling, purchase orders, and recurring sales.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and interest in helping brands expand their retail presence.

Full-time, on-site position in Austin, Texas. Candidates must currently reside in the Austin area and be available to work in person five days per week.

• Base salary: $60,000-$70,000 per year.
• On-target earnings (OTE): $80,000-$100,000 per year, including potential variable compensation.
• Commission opportunities tied to sales performance and recurring orders.
