Outside Sales Representative - Residential Elevators About the Role
We're hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow our residential elevator business in the Austin market. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role. You'll partner with home builders, architects, and contractors to bring custom elevators into new construction and renovation projects. Your territory is primarily Austin, with flexibility to pursue opportunities beyond it.
Responsibilities- Build a referral and sales network of home builders, contractors, and architects
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, sales calls, and industry networking events
- Win new construction projects and partner with renovators to retrofit existing homes
- Educate homeowners and trade partners on the value of residential elevators
- Identify bid opportunities and prepare competitive bids and proposals
- Serve as a technical consultant and trusted advisor from first conversation to close
- Track activity in our CRM and build quotes using our quoting software
- Meet revenue and profitability goals
- Share performance updates and market insights with the Director of Sales
- 2+ years of Construction sales experience, including relationship building, negotiation, and closing
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Residential elevator experience
- Experience selling to home builders or in the home construction industry
- Compensation: $75,000-$100,000 base salary + commission
