Senior Director of Business Development — Analytical Development & CMC Services

Location: New Jersey (Remote, field-based) — East Coast territory

Salary: $190,000 – $220,000 (estimate based on similar roles)

A global integrated drug discovery and analytical development partner (CRO) supporting pharma and biotech clients from early discovery through preclinical research.

Drive growth across the US East Coast by selling GMP analytical and drug development services. This is a hunter role: expand the commercial footprint, generate leads, and own the end-to-end client experience in a complex B2B sales environment across modalities like NCEs, antibodies and ADCs. Up to 60% travel.

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience at a CRO, CDMO, or related life sciences field
• Proven experience selling services within a GMP environment, specifically analytical testing (QC/release testing, stability, analytical development/validation) — CDMO-only (manufacturing) selling does not count
• BS degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another Life Sciences discipline
• Located on the US East Coast (Boston, NY, NJ, Philadelphia, or NC), able to travel up to 60%

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA) in a Life Sciences discipline
• Track record selling across diverse modalities (NCEs, antibodies, ADCs, vaccines)
