Purpose: The Research Associate II will provide research assistance with administrative tasks associated with a research study in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Austin, including facilitation and technical support of study intervention training and learning collaborative components, tracking participants, ensuring participant payment and communication.
Responsibilities- Participant recruitment and enrollment: sends recruitment emails, flyers, research information sheets, potential use of social media.
- Participant tracking: review data using REDCap, Excel, etc.; track compensation, send reminders, manage correspondence.
- Facilitation of SFA/HRW intervention components: provide technical support for trainings and learning collaboratives; follow established protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years of research experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Public speaking or communication experience
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication skills
- Compassionate, sensitive interaction with participants
- Facilitation of trainings and collaboratives
- Good social media skills
- Detail orientation, follow-through, problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and willingness to learn other technologies
- Independent and team work ability
- Approachable and engaging demeanor
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or communications (or compatible social sciences, business, marketing).
- Experience with human subject research and clinical trial work.
- Experience with REDCap and TANGO gift card systems.
- Experience with human subjects and clinical trial work.
$45,000 plus depending on qualifications.
Working ConditionsRepetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Assigned on‑campus with most work on-site; up to three flex days per week may be remote as approved. Requires reliable internet and suitable workspace.
