Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a government location, where you'll conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This armed and driving role involves being highly visible, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address each situation appropriately.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain an orderly environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed, following established protocols and maintaining clear communication.
- Adhere to all site-specific policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
