- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address each situation appropriately.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and maintain an orderly environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security‑related concerns.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed, following established protocols and maintaining clear communication.
- Adhere to all site‑specific policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
