Position Summary:

The Security Attendant – Parking and Traffic Operations is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment throughout the club’s parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property. This position directs incoming and outgoing traffic, monitors parking areas, assists members and guests with parking and transportation needs, and provides exceptional customer service consistent with the club’s standards.

The Security Attendant actively patrols designated areas to help protect members, guests, employees, vehicles, and club property. Responsibilities include providing golf cart transportation to and from vehicles as needed, assisting members and guests with entering and exiting vehicles, enforcing designated parking procedures, and promptly reporting suspicious activity, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or other incidents to the appropriate supervisor.

The successful candidate demonstrates professionalism, attentiveness, sound judgment, and a service-oriented approach while maintaining a visible security presence and supporting the overall member experience.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Security and Property Protection

• Conduct systematic patrols of designated parking areas, entrances, and surrounding club property.
• Maintain an active and visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and protect vehicles and property.
• Monitor member, guest, and employee parking areas for suspicious behavior, safety concerns, and potential security incidents.
• Immediately report suspicious activity, accidents, security concerns, and incidents to the appropriate supervisor.
• Observe and report unauthorized parking, vehicle damage, unsafe conditions, and other violations of club procedures.
• Follow established security procedures and assist with emergency response activities as directed.

Traffic and Parking Management

• Assist Security and Facilities teams with access control procedures.
• Direct incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow.
• Assist members and guests with locating designated parking areas and provide directions as needed.
• Guide employees to park in designated employee parking areas.
• Monitor parking availability and help maintain orderly use of club parking facilities.
• Assist with traffic control during peak arrival and departure periods, special events, and other high-traffic situations.
• Maintain clear access to entrances, driveways, emergency routes, and designated loading areas.

Member and Guest Services

• Provide courteous, professional, and attentive service to members, guests, and employees at all times.
• Assist members and guests with entering and exiting vehicles when needed and appropriate.
• Provide golf cart transportation to and from vehicles as requested or directed.
• Offer directions and assistance while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Respond promptly to member, employee and guest requests within the scope of assigned responsibilities.

Safety and Operational Maintenance

• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe parking areas, entrances, and surrounding walkways by identifying and reporting hazards.
