Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumbing Apprentice to join our team on commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the plumbing trade, gain hands‑on experience, and build a rewarding career under the guidance of experienced journeyman and master plumbers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed plumbers in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial construction sites.
  • Perform tasks such as digging, cutting, assembling, and installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Learn and apply plumbing codes, standards, and best practices under supervision.
  • Support other team members in completing projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current state of Texas plumbing apprentice registration or plumbing license.
  • Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and methods used in plumbing.
  • Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Prior experience in construction or a related trade.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work full‑time, including occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Commitment to learning and adhering to industry safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive team‑oriented attitude.
  • Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week.
  • Hourly Pay
    : $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
