General Maintenance Worker (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing)
Location:
Austin, TX
Pay Range: $24.97/hr – $29.50/hr (Base pay: $29.50/hr)
Shift: Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chillers and chilled water systems; building HVAC equipment; boilers and hot water heating systems; domestic water and plumbing systems; electrical systems including lighting, motors, starters, contractors, etc.
- Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
- Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
- Paint structures and equipment.
- Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
- Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
- Hang doors and install door locks.
- Replace broken window panes.
- Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Maintain HVAC systems.
- Maintain concrete and asphalt roads, parking lots and sidewalks.
- Other duties as assigned.
