Job Details
As Foreman Electrician you will lead teams of Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to complete projects on time and under budget. You will instruct your teams on NEC installation methods, motivate and guide them, and help layout work to promote continuous learning and development.

• Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial, industrial, and large multi‑family settings.
• Prepares work area for installation of equipment for yourself and your team.
• Installs or helps install electrical components.
• Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
• Operates equipment only if trained and certified to do so (e.g., powder‑activated tools, JLG lifts, and other operations that require certification).
• Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.
• Able to read blueprints and electrical drawings to install and lay out as specified.
• Verifies dimensions, alignments and clearances per drawings or plans.
• Secures and locks up equipment after use.
• Possesses or is willing to obtain a Journeyman Trade Certification in a related construction trade.
• Has a proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Building Codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job requires working in all elements, depending on location and weather conditions. Protective equipment is mandatory (hard hat, safety glasses, respirator when required). Must work 8‑10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as needed, including night shifts. Physical demands include crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, and routinely lifting objects over 50 pounds. Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers is expected.

Physical work is more than 70% of the job.
