Pay Rate: $30 – $35/hr (dependent on shift and level)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Contract Type: W2 through Staffing Supplier

We are seeking Field Service / Start-Up Technicians (Levels I & II) to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites. This position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who are comfortable working in a highly technical, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform on-site installation, service, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues.
- Perform equipment start-ups, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
- Read and follow technical documentation, blueprints, electrical diagrams, and written procedures/SOPs.
- Diagnose equipment problems and replace or install components as required.
- Coordinate with customers, technicians, engineers, and supervisors to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Train or assist customer technicians with equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and customer-site requirements.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and other assigned property.
- Travel domestically as required based on business needs, including customer sites, training facilities, and company locations.
- High school diploma/GED required;
Associate or technical degree in Electronics, Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred. - Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a customer-facing environment.
- Safety-focused mindset.
- Ability and willingness to travel based on business requirements.
