Security Technician

We are seeking a skilled Security Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical environments. • Install and service access control systems, CCTV cameras, and video surveillance equipment
• Pull, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6)
• Install door hardware, badge readers, controllers, mag locks, and related security devices
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the field
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets project specifications

• 1+ years of experience with electronic security systems, low-voltage cabling, or access control installation
• Experience with CCTV and physical security systems
• Ability to work on construction sites and active commercial facilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing Cat5e/Cat6 low-voltage cabling
• Experience installing access control hardware including badge readers, door controllers, mag locks, and related devices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and security system layouts
• Ability to work independently or as part of a field installation team

• Experience with Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Open Options, or similar platforms
• Experience in data centers, healthcare facilities, or other secure environments
• OSHA 10/30, BICSI, or manufacturer certifications
• Experience commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting security systems
• Experience with intrusion detection, alarm, and integrated security platforms
• Experience with fiber optic cabling and structured cabling installations
