Social Worker, Crisis Counselor

This Social Worker position is part of the Crisis Intervention Team within the Neighborhood Services Unit (NSU). This position provides crisis intervention and case management services to victims of disaster and public health emergencies and assists the NSU in providing social service support to the community. This position facilitates linkage to necessary resources to assist clients in meeting their case management goals, documents client progress and case activities in the client database and charts and enters data into monthly reporting tools.

In addition, they will assist the Neighborhood Centers in working with clients to achieve self-sufficiency, meeting grant requirements, and working mass distributions and other events.
