This is a full-time position based in Manizales, Colombia, with a full-time onsite requirement at the studio's campus.

Supported by project Leads, the Senior Generalist Engineer will solve tough technical challenges in a high-energy environment with experienced industry leaders and a highly collaborative team.

The ideal candidate for this role has 5+ years experience developing software in C++ and an eagerness to explore other game engines and programming languages.

• Create high-performance, robust, maintainable code in a cross-platform environment
• Deploy, evaluate performance, optimize and test software on PC and console platforms
• Evaluate existing technology architectures
• Drive the evaluation and documentation of existing technology and engines
• Adapt engineering solutions to utilize the latest console APIs
• Extend existing systems to meet long-term needs of ongoing development
• Work with external development partners
• Adhere to team coding standards and practice
• Required to work independently and report to a manager
• Teach and mentor junior and mid-level engineers on relevant best practices and modern technologies
• Other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned to help complete company or department objectives

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience software development
• Fluent in C++
• Excellent debugging and profiling skills
• Experience with memory management on small embedded systems
• Create high-performance, robust, maintainable code in a cross-platform environment
• Evaluate existing technology architectures
• Extend existing systems to meet long-term needs of ongoing development
• Work with external development partners
• Adhere to team coding standards and practice
• Required to work independently and report to a manager
• Other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned to help complete company or department objectives

• Familiar with C, C#, HTML, Java, or HLSL/GLSL
• Experience porting web engines to embedded connected devices such as smart TVs, smart appliances, and consumer media devices
• Programming experience with runtime on embedded systems using C/C++ in resource-constrained environments (limited memory, CPU, GPU)
• Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming
• Effective communicator in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with the current PC development process

• Familiar with contemporary engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot, Source, etc.)
• Familiar with contemporary platforms (Xbox, Play Station, Switch, Steam Deck, etc.)
• A passion for video games and game development
• Previous experience with rendering, graphics, or optimization
