React Native Mobile Engineer

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $75.00/hr on W2

Our client is embarking on an exciting project to rebuild their mobile application from the ground up. The current app is developed in native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift), and the objective is to transform it into a React Native mobile application with minimal native code.

As a React Native Mobile Engineer, you will be an integral part of a small, dynamic team responsible for recreating the existing feature set in a new React Native codebase. You will leverage established coding patterns, best practices, tooling, frameworks, and reusable components from previous projects to ensure a smooth transition. Using the existing codebase as a reference, your primary task will be to rebuild the same functionality in React Native.

• Develop and implement the mobile application using React Native, ensuring feature parity with the existing native applications.
• Collaborate with team members to establish and maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Create comprehensive documentation to support the development process and future maintenance.
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Adhere to organizational standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in mobile development.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with React Native.
• Proven experience contributing to successful software project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of software testing, quality assurance, and automated testing solutions.
• Experience in maintaining and debugging live applications.

• Experience with native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
