Senior Frontend Engineer – Activation Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to be a foundational member of our brand-new Activation engineering team. This is a unique, high‑impact opportunity to grow a new product line from the ground up that will be central to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate design into delight:
    Partner closely with Product and Design to translate Figma‑based designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive, and accessible web applications that create genuine customer delight.
  • Own and solve:
    Act as a reliable technical contributor who owns, drives, and solves complex UI/UX problems independently. Own production operation, monitoring, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Lead projects:
    Independently lead key frontend projects through scoping, deployment, and post‑launch support.
  • Improve & adapt:
    Challenge existing processes, improve technical stack, and contribute to evolving the new Design System.
  • Mentor & influence:
    Mentor other engineers, accelerate growth, and persuade stakeholders on difficult technical matters.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, building complex, high‑quality frontend applications.
  • Deep experience in React and its ecosystem, expertise in modern JavaScript/Type Script and advanced frontend patterns.
  • Rapid, iterative delivery:
    Bias for action and ability to deliver small chunks of value quickly.
  • Customer‑obsessed:
    Deep sense of customer empathy and drive to align solutions with user experience.
  • Design‑to‑code excellence:
    Portfolio or demonstrated ability to translate complex Figma designs into high‑quality interfaces.
  • Strong communicator:
    Articulate complex concepts and design trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Project leadership:
    Proven ability to lead complex technical projects independently.
  • Mentorship & influence:
    Experience mentoring engineers and persuading on technical matters.
Nice to Haves
  • Design System experience:
    Building or contributing to a design system from the ground up.
  • Component libraries:
    Familiarity with shadcn/ui, Radix UI, or Headless UI.
  • Diverse company experience:
    Startup and established tech company experience.
  • Domain knowledge:
    Experience in martech/ad‑tech or link management/QR codes.
Location & Remote

This role will be based at the Austin, TX office and follows a hybrid schedule aligned with return‑to‑office guidelines. Remote full‑time candidates in Texas are also welcome.

Travel

Remote work is open to full‑time candidates in Texas. This role does not qualify for relocation or visa sponsorship.

Background Checks

Working with healthcare clients may necessitate additional background checks during employment. All background checks will be conducted in compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Offer of employment is contingent upon consent to such background checks and satisfactory verification.

Compensation

Estimated pay range for Austin, TX: $127,000 to $165,000. Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Base compensation does not include potential equity, which is available for qualifying positions.
