We're seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join the ASO Engineering team. This team builds and maintains internal tools that improve operational efficiency and deliver actionable insights across the organization. In this role, you'll go beyond standard full-stack development — you'll have the opportunity to architect solutions end-to-end with team oversight.
You will directly contribute to optimizing the online customer experience and supporting internal business and technical teams within the retail line of business.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUAs a Full Stack Engineer (50% frontend, 50% backend), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal applications that manage, report, and synchronize data across multiple systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations partners and play a key role in enhancing internal platforms and workflows.
- Design and build new internal applications and tooling to enhance operational workflows
- Develop scalable frontend features using React or Angular
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js
- Work with Postgre
SQL databases and/or AWS-based services - Contribute to architectural discussions and propose technical solutions
- Own features end-to-end, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Support and enhance existing internal systems and integrations
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5–10 years of experience writing code in JavaScript, specifically with modern frontend frameworks both Angular and React, and experience rewriting code from Angular to React
- Strong backend experience with Node.js (Express or NextJS preferred, but not required)
- Hands-on experience with Postgre
SQL for database, or familiarity with AWS, including familiarity with infrastructure or development pipelines (team owns their own CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins)
- Experience using or integrating AI coding agents
- Jenkins experience
