Description
Nuvoton Technology Corporation America, based in Austin Texas, is seeking an experienced RT/Embedded Firmware Developer to join our team, developing advanced embedded firmware for our embedded controller chips.
As part of our multi-disciplinary group, you’ll help shape and maintain innovative embedded and security solutions for the global PC market and contribute to products at the technological forefront.
Responsibilities- Design and develop embedded firmware for Nuvoton’s EC chips.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and security teams to deliver robust solutions for enterprise PCs and desktops.
- Maintain and enhance existing firmware, drivers, and boot loaders.
- Participate in design & code reviews, debugging, and system integration.
- Support customers to develop new features, bring up new boards and debug issues
- BSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering –
Must - Minimum 5 years’ experience in RT/Embedded firmware, driver, and boot loader development –
Must - Strong proficiency in C programming –
Must - Hands-on experience with bare-metal and/or RTOS environments (e.g., FreeRTOS, Thread
X or Zephyr) –
Must - Knowledge of cryptography and secure coding – Advantage
- Experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., HW debugger, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) – Advantage
- Familiarity with security standardization bodies – Advantage
- Experience working with customers – Advantage
- Team player with strong communication skills, high motivation, and the ability to learn new technologies independently
