Job Overview
W2 Contract – Core Java Developer at Signature IT World Inc. Austin, TX
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java
- Build and manage integration workflows with Apache Camel
- Develop and support event-driven and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka
- Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented Java code following best practices
- Participate in system design, performance tuning, and code reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
- Collaborate with frontend developers, Dev Ops, and product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
- Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability
Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of strong experience in Core Java
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with Apache Camel
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka
- Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP), multithreading & concurrency, exception handling, and JVM concepts
- Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Good problem‑solving and debugging skills
