We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Operations group. You will lead architectural excellence, mentor teammates, and build software powering advanced fintech platforms. Modern AI tools such as Claude AI will be a key part of your toolkit to optimize development and scale solutions.

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high‑performance, highly available software.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and identify and resolve inefficiencies.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers through guidance, code reviews, and best‑practice advocacy.
• Implement test‑driven development and maintain comprehensive unit test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Product Management, and QA to deliver efficient, customer‑focused solutions.
• Resolve complex defects via root cause analysis, using AI insights to preempt performance issues.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and embed AI‑powered tools into the development pipeline.
• Own end‑to‑end service health—from development through production support, monitoring, and optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years of hands‑on software development, preferably in high‑availability, high‑performance systems.
• Experience applying AI tools (Claude AI, Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate engineering processes.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), RESTful API design, SQL/No
  
  SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI models for automation and optimization in deployment pipelines.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience in fintech or other high‑transaction, high‑availability domains is a plus.

• Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Python, C++, JavaScript) and software frameworks.
• Deep understanding of software development principles, including test‑driven development, clean coding, and strong architectural design.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and risk‑mitigation skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of financial transaction systems, brokerage custody, clearing operations, data processing, or trading infrastructure.

• Hybrid office schedule: three days per week in the office.
