We’re seeking self‑motivated technical leaders who thrive on solving system‑level and data‑plane architecture challenges an expert developer, you’ll deep‑dive into low‑level systems, designing highly scalable solutions for networking and storage in OCI’s advanced cloud environment. You have a proven record of shipping major features to production, deep expertise in high‑scale public cloud—particularly at the data‑plane level. You work independently, mentor teams, and drive technical vision from concept through delivery.
BasicQualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years’ experience building robust, distributed services in high‑performance development environments
- Demonstrated ability to write high‑quality code in C/C++, Go, or similar languages
- Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms; experience optimizing for scale
- Deep background in networking data‑plane architectures (DPU‑based or DPDK‑based solutions)
- Familiarity with network virtualization, network protocols, and distributed systems
- Proven experience with highly distributed, large‑scale service infrastructures
- Hands‑on experience in operational environments with mission‑critical, tier‑0 services
- Expertise in Linux internals and strong Linux/Unix troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with DPU programming (such as P4/Pensando (AMD), DOCA/Blue Field)
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 - $223,400 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
