CAD Engineer

Job Description

Join us if you want to work with a team of engineers from different backgrounds with knowledge crossing software development, cloud computing, chip design, front‑end RTL coding, and backend implementation. We work with various functional teams across multiple sites to develop flow/tools that achieve high productivity and automation. We also create innovative solutions for hard problems identified by ourselves or raised by other teams—problems that require deep knowledge and strong development capability outside specific fields.

Rather than one‑time ad‑hoc hacks, the team aims to provide generic, reusable solutions and platforms. We have successfully built platforms in both front‑end and back‑end fields to support any applications. We are looking for people who are not just experienced in IC design but also have the interest and capability to address higher‑level design problems with reusable solutions. You will have the opportunity to work in various fields you are interested in, including but not limited to pure software development, studying specific chip‑design problems, developing applications on our platform, or maintaining the platform itself.

• Collaborate with all functional teams to analyze and improve their flow for better automation and efficiency.
• Develop tools to support these tasks whenever necessary (Rust/Python preferred).
• Develop applications on our existing platforms to automate front‑end/back‑end tasks (Python).

• 1+ year experience in Rust programming language, or equivalent like C/C++/Java/Go, and willing to learn Rust.
• 3+ years experience in Python.
• 1+ year experience in web application design.
• 3+ years experience in the VLSI/EDA industry.

• Experience with AI algorithms/tools and applying them to custom applications.
• Strong knowledge of VLSI flow, especially in the back‑end side for physical/timing.
