OverviewAshby builds intuitive tools for hiring a Design Engineer, you’ll solve complex design problems and enhance our in‑house design system.
Responsibilities- Redesign mobile web app by interviewing customers, wire framing new flows, and implementing the design system.
- Build composable components in the design system, including customizable autocompletes with filters and record creation.
- Improve information hierarchy and scannability of candidate assessment views to aid recruiters.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to iterate on product specs and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Introduction call with hiring manager (15‑30 min, live).
- Technical screen with pair programming in our codebase (1 h, live).
- Three non‑coding interviews (product thinking, technical design, infrastructure) (3 h 15 min, live).
