Full Stack Developer - Java & Angular; Austin

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks such as Angular. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high‑performing consumer‑facing web applications. This role requires hands‑on experience across backend services, microservices, REST APIs, front‑end UI development, automated testing, cloud deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build and integrate RESTful services, microservices, and API gateways using Spring Cloud or equivalent technologies.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and high‑quality UI components for consumer‑facing applications.
• Implement automated testing frameworks including JUnit, Karma, Cucumber, Ruby, and Java BDD.
• Ensure Accessibility (A11y) compliance and usability across platforms and devices.

• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot logs using tools such as Splunk, Big Query, or Grafana.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Bamboo, Sonar Qube, Blackduck, and Veracode.
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and Dev Ops teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning initiatives.

• 8‑10 years of strong hands‑on experience with Java (8+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Type Script, and Angular (18+) or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience developing consumer‑facing or high‑traffic web applications.
• Knowledge of API gateway patterns using Spring Cloud or similar.
• Experience with automated testing tools:
• JUnit, Karma, Cucumber, Ruby, Java BDD
• Familiarity with Accessibility Testing and WCAG standards.
• Experience working with databases such as Mongo

• Hands‑on experience with log analysis and reporting using Splunk, Big Query, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD and code quality/security tools Git Hub Actions, Bamboo, Sonar, Blackduck, Veracode.
• Experience deploying applications on GCP or AWS.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices, performance tuning, and scalable system design.
• Understanding of NIST Identity Standards.
• Experience integrating with enterprise identity platforms.
• Understanding of authentication and identity protocols such as OAuth, SAML, etc.

• Proactive in learning new technologies, tools, and patterns.
• Proven software design experience with high-performance scalable applications that integrate with multiple internal and external systems.
• Ability to solve problems in high‑stress and time‑critical situations, including production incidents and urgent recovery scenarios.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑team collaboration capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, Agile environment with attention to detail.
