Principal Software Engineer (IC4) – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking for a skilled and innovative Principal Software Engineer (IC4) to play a key role in designing, building, and operating our next‑generation Assurance Service. As part of a dynamic and collaborative engineering team, you will contribute to developing robust solutions that deliver reliability, compliance, and trust to OCI customers worldwide.

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient software solutions to power OCI’s Assurance Service.
• Partner with product managers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and high‑impact features.
• Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap by delivering high‑quality, well‑tested, and secure code.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and operational excellence standards required for enterprise cloud services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and reliability.
• Participate in peer code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to help shape the future of Assurance Service.

Hiring Range in USD from $96,800 – $223,400 per year. Eligible for bonus and equity.
